-Accountabilities:
Accountability 1: Audits and Statutory Financial Statements Preparation
∙ Support on the preparation and delivery of intermediary and final statutory financial statements for our Nigeria-based entities;
∙ Support in providing analysis, documents and explanations to auditors;
∙ Provide documents, analysis and explanations to internal auditors upon request;
∙ Provide documents, analysis and explanations in connection with tax audits;
∙ Provide any additional support required concerning audits and financial statements preparation

Accountability 2: Year & Month end closing
∙ Perform monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet, including the ageing analysis and follow-up of open items;
∙ Ensure the completeness of the books before cut-off; including the booking or reversal of accruals, provisions, assets capitalization, depreciation, and retirement if any, etc

∙ Collect, check, book and follow up accruals; and ensure the reversals are recorded upon invoice posting
Accountability 3: Treasury Activities
∙ Check and send for approval early payment rebate, quarterly rebate …
∙ Perform the manual booking of the rebate
- Support customer service team, on customers' accounts, follow up
Accountability 4: Support to the business & Ad Hoc Reporting
∙ Provide timely any relevant data, insights, analysis, reporting to the business for the purpose of decision making, technical assistance, etc

∙ Prepare and submit upon review any statistical data or request for financial information from Authorities or third parties;
∙ Provide support in the area of Accounting, Finance under the instruction of the Supervisor

Job Requirement

- Hold a university degree in Finance and Accounting
- Have at least 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance in a multinational company

- Have a strong understanding of operational/ financial / compliance / IT controls, IT literacy and are digital savvy
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are collaborative, a team player, customer-oriented and a quick learner
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and planning skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to established timeframes
